Boo wasn’t happy that she missed my actual finish and wanted me to simulate crossing the finish line.

Thanks, Mom, for the running skirt you gave me for my birthday. The world at large appreciates the extra coverage.

Heaven knows what the official race photo is going to look like. At least  in this one I’m smiling and not looking completely miserable.

The really sad thing (aside from those shorts) is that even knowing this was the photo spot, this was the best I could muster up. At least I look relatively upright and the feet appear to be leaving the ground instead of shuffling.

I like to think it’s the baggy clothes that make me look fat, but I’m starting to suspect that perhaps it’s the fat that’s making me look fat…
